The late Joan and Lloyd Whittaker founded the Waiheke Musical Museum. Their courtship ultimately led to the creation of this unique museum and its remarkable collection of carefully restored instruments.

This is the story of a chance meeting of two young people, music, New Zealand's early colonial history and craftsmanship, all underlined by their love not only for each other but for people everywhere.
