‘Flotilla’ commemorates Devonport's significant role in the anti-nuclear movement from 1973 to 1987 with a timeline of key events leading up to the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior in 1985.
The highlight of ‘Flotilla’ will be a collection of origami boats, created and decorated by students from local schools. Materials and instructions will be provided for visitors to make their own origami boats to add to the fleet.
The Devonport Library (2 Victoria Road) will also feature the ‘Flotilla’ display.
