Event details

Papakura Museum hosts an exhibition and talk about the Vietnam War.

New Zealand's involvement in the Vietnam conflict was highly controversial which sparked widespread protests. Papakura has a strong military history and soldiers who served in Vietnam undertook their training at Papakura Military Camp.

Vietnam veterans will give a talk giving a firsthand account of their training and experiences during the conflict.

The exhibition will contain various artefacts from the conflict along with descriptive panels and images.
