An exhibition about protests surrounding the spraying of insecticide in west Auckland to contain the Painted Apple Moth.
There were numerous protests including petitions to the then-Waitākere City Council and government, community meetings, street protests and a ‘People’s Inquiry’ into the effects of the spraying.
This exhibition features material from the Spray Free Coalition plus other material held at Auckland Libraries Research West.
