Event details

130 years ago, women in Aotearoa won the right to vote by presenting a petition to parliament that was over 270 metres long.

Come to Mt Roskill Library to see this amazing feat re-enacted. Come dressed up and act the part. Hear suffrage-inspired speeches delivered in character.

Re-enactment is a great way to connect to protests of the past, so that we can learn how to fight for our future.
