Devonport locals share stories of protest and peace which have made our peninsula a safer and more open place to live and to share.
From the programme to save Ngataringa Bay from a big marina, to opening up the park at Narrow Neck Beach, from the protests against nuclear intrusion through recycling and the enforced joining of North Shore City, many have played a part.
We share anecdotes, stories and displays which help us to remember.
