Come to an afternoon of 'tea, scones and nuclear disarmament' at the Museum of Waiheke.
Waiheke has a long and proud history of being an island of ‘activists and lunatics’ – from women who attended the Greenham Common protests, a peace walk from Waiheke to Wellington, and participation in a peace walk across America.
There will be a talk about the Waiheke Peace movement, a screening of the film' Kit and Maynie - tea, scones and nuclear disarmament' and a short performance of songs of 'peace, love and protest'.
