Event details

Quakers, Te Hāhi Tūhauwiri / The Religious Society of Friends, have long been known for their commitment to peace and their public stance on it.

They have been conscientious objectors in war times and have marched and protested for peace and justice whenever this is threatened. They have also long been a presence in Auckland, first meeting in 1885.

Take this opportunity to learn more about Quaker beliefs and protest actions by visiting the Meeting House and hearing from those involved.

Presented by: Northern Monthly Meeting, Te Hāhi Tūhauwiri/ Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)
