Explore east Auckland’s unique heritage with three self-guided walks using Howick Local Board’s heritage walk app.

The Tāmaki River tour travels 9km along Pakuranga Rotary Shared Pathway on the banks of the Tāmaki estuary, from Ōhuiarangi / Pigeon Mountain in the east to the Panmure bridge in the west. Suitable for people of all ages.

The app is available on both apple and android devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching Howick’s Heritage.

Two other walks available on the app - Main Street stroll and Bucklands Beach Loop.
