Explore east Auckland’s unique heritage with three self-guided walks using Howick Local Board’s heritage walk app.

The Bucklands Beach loop includes Musick Point radio station, and the 2 ½ hour walk takes in the suburb of Bucklands Beach and its historic points of interest. Suitable for people of all ages.

The app is available on both apple and android devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching Howick’s Heritage.

Two other walks available on the app - Tāmaki River Walk and Bucklands Beach Loop.
