Event details

Castor Bay Battery and Camp is believed to represent the most extensive survival of World War II ‘architecture of deception’ where defence installations were disguised by representing them as something other than they were, e.g. a seaside housing estate.

Come on a short tour and hear about the history of the battery and the threat of invasion during war.
