A guided walk by Edward Bennett along Karangahape Road. In its heyday, K' Road was Auckland's premier shopping street.

A great many famous names in retailing started here and many companies of national importance chose to have a branch here in preference to Queen Street.

The custom of late-night shopping was central to the lives of most people for the first 60 years of the 20th century.
