Details

Come and visit Waikaraka Park for a guided tour by Onehunga Fencible & Historical Society President Colin Freland, with 50 years experience as a player and St John zambuk.

The park started life in 1883 when races were held. It became a sports park following construction of the grandstand and stone removal.

What happened during World War II? Who were the champions? What is the future?
