An amble down memory lane looking back at the days, from 1903 to 1956, when electric trams rumbled through Kingsland.

Tramway historian James Duncan will host an easy walk through the heart of Kingsland, sharing the history, stories and images from the tram years.

This 45-minute walking tour will conclude at the site of a plaque that commemorates Auckland's worst tramway accident.

Here, James will share the story behind this 1903 disaster and the impact it had on the entire tramway industry throughout New Zealand, even to today's tramway operators.
