Come into Avondale Library to share memories about the Whau River - Avondale's backyard waterway.

View amazing photographs from the river's story: the portage, early settlements and all the way up to present day.

Photographs from the collections of Max White, Whau Flotilla, West End Rowing Club, Friends of the Whau and the J T Diamond and Sir George Grey Special Collections.
