Details

Take a ferry ride from Auckland City or Devonport to Rangitoto Wharf, where your guide will meet you.

Walk through the Kidney Fern Glen to the Prison Camp site before returning along the coastal track, past the baches to the UNESCO award-winning Museum Bach.

A welcome cup of tea and scone will await you.

The baches on Rangitoto have a fascinating history and are being lovingly maintained by their owners. They offer a glimpse into times gone by.

The tour will take about two hours, so you can catch the 12.45pm ferry home or stay and explore before catching a later ferry.
