Step back in time, to the shoe capital of New Zealand, as we celebrate the past and present of our footwear retailers.

Come along to Ziera Shoes at 402 Broadway at 11am on Thursday 5 October to hear the history of one of Newmarket’s footwear families, 'Three Generations of Shoes.'

During the festival you can pick up a booklet to learn about the heritage of Newmarket’s footwear families. Booklets are available from selected shoe stores in Newmarket and also from Epsom and Parnell Libraries.

Bring the kids to enter the shoe shop window competition and walk up to Highwic to view footwear memorabilia.
