The Auckland City Centre Residents' Group (CCRG) recognises walking as a means of both early and contemporary active transport.

The CCRG starts this guided heritage walk on their city centre turf, at the Maritime Museum. We hope to literally pass the baton on to neighbours from other parts of Auckland.

This 16km walk from one side of the isthmus to the other incorporates some of Auckland's finest natural and built heritage areas.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the day at any point on the walk.

We will make a stop for lunch.

Visit the CCRG website and the CCRG Facebook page, where you can follow the event, see who's going and let us know if you are coming.
