Maota Samoa (Samoa House) on Beresford Street, with its distinctive Fale, was built in 1978.

Join us in this iconic building to celebrate the Pacific heritage of the K'Road area and its broader reputation as a counterculture hub, with the screening of the Polynesian Panthers documentary.

From the dawn raids to Bastion Point and the Springbok Tour, the film explores a movement established in the early 1970s to liberate Māori and Pacific Islanders in Aotearoa.
