See three of Charlie Chaplin’s black and white silent movies on the big screen at the historic Mercury Theatre in Newton - one of New Zealand's oldest theatres.

Each movie is about 25 minutes long with a lot of running around. Chaplin in particular is being chased by the bad guys, the cops, or someone else he has annoyed.

Come dressed in the 1920s style as a gangster (gentlemen bring a cane, but no machine guns) or flapper. We will have music from the 1920s and possibly some swing dancing on the stage afterwards.

Drinks will be served by one of New Zealand's oldest breweries. Join us for this fun night, when you can travel back in time to experience 1920s music and entertainment.
