Event details

Kate Sheppard was figurehead behind the drive to win women the vote 125 years ago. She was notable then, and we have made her even more so now.

Who would have wagered $10 that Kate would get women the vote? Well she did, and we've put her on the $10 note!

Also on display are profiles of some of the first local women voters.
