Event details

This exhibition honours 42 young past pupils who laid down their lives for God, King and Country in the First World War.

The display is in the beautifully restored former school, now Onehunga Community House. Find out more about these people and view the memorial made for them by local community members.

Also on show is a selection of uniforms and memorabilia from this time, and a photographic display of historic Onehunga.

Same-day events at Onehunga Community House:

  • At 2pm, attend the history talk "It Ain't Necessarily So, True or False?" presented by Phil Sai Louie - Learn more
  • At 3pm, afternoon tea will be served on bone china. Bookings essential - Learn more
