Event details

Celebrate the creatively minded spirits who have been woven into the tapestry of Parnell. Whether through music or the arts, they have greatly contributed to the heritage of 'our people'.

Join us as we string together the stories and personalities who defined those unique patterns.

Start your morning at one of the earliest bakeries in Parnell (built in 1935). Take a look back at life in the 40s; the value of bread during wartime rationing and the knitting groups that sustained the war effort.

The galleries of Parnell will share, bit by bit, some of the curious and diverse personalities that shaped the area into what it is today.

Complete the heritage experience in the heart of Parnell Village for a chat with some stalwarts who remember the high-society icons.
