Event details

The Parnell Trust presents a series of walks that weave through the oldest suburbs of Auckland and follow in the footsteps of those who made the city what it is today.

Wander up Takutai Street, where Bishop George Augustus Selwyn and his fellow missionaries used to tread, or stroll down the Domain hill – once the site of flourishing kūmara crops for local iwi.

Led by experienced and knowledgeable local guides, this is one of four walks to choose from.

Streams and Gullies Heritage Walk: Wonder at Auckland's colonial past, while treading the beautiful shoreline of Hobson Bay on this walk of streams and gullies.

Meet Tom Bowden outside the Jubilee Building, 545 Parnell Road.
