Event details

Giuseppe presents an illustrated talk about the 2nd New Zealand Division in Italy during the final years of World War II. This will cover the relationship between the UK and USA during the end of the Allied African campaign, the real reason of the invasion of Italy, and what happened in Italy during the summer of 1943.

It will also look at why the New Zealand Division landed in Italy, their campaign there, and the relationship of the men with the local population.
