Event details

Elihu Shaw: from Sussex as a gardener to Sandringham as a landowner.

Walk through Morningside, including the original Shaw and Gribblehirst Estates.

You will pass a 1865 farmhouse in Ethel Street, possibly the last of its kind in the area, and historic commercial and industrial buildings.

The walk will take you down some narrow heritage streets with many villas and cypress trees.

End at Gribblehirst Park, often forgotten because it is off the beaten track.

Moderate fitness required. Comfortable shoes recommended.
