Event details

Wilson’s beach and jetty are at the bottom of Victoria Avenue, Remuera. They have been a local place of transport, sport and recreation for over 100 years.

Residents Joseph Liston Wilson and Captain Thomas Tilly, R.N. helped build the jetty as access to the harbour.

Come and hear the history of the beach and jetty, and plans for the future from Bruce Renshaw, a descendant of Captain Tilly.
