Event details

The English tradition of Morris Dancing is alive and well in Tāmaki Makaurau.

The dance is a series of rhythmic steps and execution of choreographed figures by a group of dancers. Dancers usually wear bell pads on their shins, and wield sticks, handkerchiefs, or garlands.

Join us to find out more about the origin of this dance. Equipment will be available for everyone taking part in our workshop.
