Event details

Local historian Ian Lawlor and a parks ranger will walk you through the beautiful Ōtuataua Stonefields in Māngere.

You will learn about the important Māori and European history associated with this area. Along the way you'll also discover the hidden treasures throughout this amazing reserve.

The Ōtuataua Stonefields is an internationally significant heritage site. It contains the remains of an ancient Māori settlement.
