Event details

The Notable and Notorious exhibition tells the stories of people who impacted on the scandals of Auckland's past. Each story is associated with the Rev. Dr John Kinder, his family and their home, John Kinder House.

This exhibition is about people of the past and what their 'ghosts' can tell us today. Their stories are captured in photographs, art works, articles and all the ways they influenced the development of the cultural values of the time. There is also a special section dedicated to past heritage activists from Civic Trust Auckland and Historic Places Trust Auckland Branch.
