Event details

Join us for a special viewing of three council-owned historic buildings: Journeys End, replica of an 1847 Fencibles cottage; Laishley House built in 1858 for Reverend Laishley, minister of a Congregational church; and Blockhouse built in 1860 as part of Auckland's defences.

Some rooms will be furnished with locally sourced items in keeping with the era, and others will display memorabilia of the past. In keeping with this year's theme there will be photos and story displays of the Onehunga businesses and people who helped to make Tāmaki Makaurau what it has become. Our archives will also be available.
