Event details

Each day of the festival, families and children of all ages can explore Howick Historical Village and join in activities linked to occupations from the old days.

Candle maker, besom maker, rope maker or blacksmith are probably not on the list of jobs you would choose today. Technology and changing times have largely replaced them, but these holidays they are being revived.

You can choose an occupation, grab a backpack and uncover everything you need to know about it as you explore the village. Top it off with vintage games, giant bubbles, colouring and crafts.

Join our villagers for an activity at 11am and 2pm each day.
