Event details

Visit the Albany War Memorial Library to read about the journeys and sacrifices of Albany soldiers in the first and second world wars. The library is usually only accessible by request. For this event it is open so you can browse our collection, including books and photos.

The library was built as a memorial for the 23 men who lost their lives in World War I.

It is currently managed by the Albany Hall Committee. These volunteers take care of the building, and ensure it is being honoured as a war memorial.
