Event details

Hey! Ho! Come to the fair and swing into 1920s Auckland as captured on film.

Take a ride on the Big Dipper overlooking Waitematā Harbour, have fun crashing dodgems and take part in the merry-mix-up that was Luna Park. Afterwards, check out a motor cycle race at Alexandra Park, get an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of the tramway workshop in Mt Roskill and then board a tram to Queen Street, experiencing Auckland as it was.

Presented by: Auckland Libraries and and from the audio visual collections Ngā Taonga Sound and Vision
